Network Security Analyst (NOC/SOC)

We currently have an opportunity for a Network Security Analyst as we expand our team. The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in Network Security with hands-on experience on Firewalls, IPS, Routers, and Switches. A sense of humour is mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage company and client Firewalls, Routers, Switches and VPN configurations.
• Deployment, configuration, and hardening of network devices according to industry standards.
• Participate in NOC/SOC activity 24*7*365.
• Monitor device status, analyze trends, threat detection & routine performance verifications.
• Follow Incident Response and Escalation procedures accurately and within internal SLA.
• Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and requests to customers and service providers.
• Maintain current on new customer technologies, devices and procedures.
• Accurately record problem details using a ticketing system.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures and diagrams.
• Analyze network traffic utilizing different tools and write network status reports.
• Write scripts and design automated network functions to increase efficiency.
• Answer incoming calls for technical support from customers and coordinate with vendors, and other staff members within the company.
• Resolve outage issues by isolating programs and collaborating with engineers to find fixes.
• Analyze network logs using SIEM, and Syslog solution; identify and investigate security and operational alerts and monitor networks and systems.
• Able to multitask and prioritize incidents based on operational impact.
• Run diagnostics programs on networks to identify problems and fix them.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational level: Bachelor in Computer Science and at least one of certifications (Fortinet NSE 4, PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNP Security)
• 24*7*365 shift rotation with team members (includes evenings, weekends and holidays)
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills are necessary
• Knowledge in Network Security & Cyber Security
• Knowledge in Routing and Switching
• Familiarity with security tools, techniques, and concepts
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential

EXPERIENCE:

Network Security: 3 years Hands-on experience with deployment and configuration of firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA: 3 years Candidates with Fortinet NSE 4 certification will be preferred. Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
